Special Events
The Bend Community Bible Study is having a visitation evening at 1st Baptist Church, 60 NW Oregon Avenue in Bend on Wednesday, the 27th of August, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
The Bend Women's Day Class, the Bend Evening Class and the Redmond Day Class will come together to familiarize those interested in the available Bible studies.
CBS is a nondenominational Bible study that consists of a personal study, a discussion, a lecture and a commentary on the Scriptures.
Yes, it is Labor Day Weekend, but several people who attended the moon celebrations earlier this month asked if we would still hold this new moon ceremony on Saturday. There is plenty of room, so feel free to invite friends, family, colleagues. If you can attend, give me a call or email.

I've decided to schedule a special meeting of our metaphysical study group on Sunday, September 21 - 3 pm. There are two reasons for this... a special friend of mine will be in town that day, and it's a perfect opportunity to celebrate the Autum equinox!
PLEASE NOTE: Our regular meetings will still be on the first Sunday of each month, beginning on Sunday, November 2 (no meeting in October).
The Spring and the Autumn Equinoxes are times when the day (light) is equal to the night (dark), and balance is created between them. This is the time to focus on balance in our physical, emotional and spiritual lives. In Spring we plant and give birth to new life, and in Autumn we rejoice in harvesting what we’ve planted.
In this gathering we will participate in a beautiful ceremony that focuses on harvesting -- with gratitude -- the growth we've experienced over the last six months. The ceremony will also help us manifest the increase and abundance we intend to create in during the next six months. Please bring a symbolic object or statement representing something you'd like to transform, increase, release or balance in your life during the coming year.
As always, we'll meet from 3 - 5 pm with a pot luck celebration afterwards.
