A
special Thank You! to everyone who provides their gifts for our services and
activities.
At Our Last Meeting
August 24 at 9:00 AM Spiritual Awareness Community
The program started with the Congregation sharing stories of 'Gifts of Kindness' they had given, received or witnessed.
Next was a 'Gifts of Kindness' meditation with music and famous quotes about giving; that led directly into a ritual where members gave the Gift of Prayer at the altar and lighted candles in honor of someone or themselves. As attendees left the altar they were given two roses and a purified and blessed quartz crystal.
Finally, attendees circled the altar in spiritual love and fellowship and honored and blessed the candles and their prayers. The MC then asked Spirit for blessings of those joined hand in hand in the Holy Circle.
Inside every one of us there is a deep desire to experience love, wholeness, healing, and contentment. There is an Infinite River of Bliss and Joy and Love that floods through all of creation. Many of us, though, go quite thirsty and this River of Bliss seems to be a pipe-dream or something out of reach or imperceptible. Underneath the fluid surface of our lives there is a field of Infinite depth and unlimited pure potential that is the source of all Love, Wisdom, and Energy.
Fear is born from the perception of being a limited separate being. When our awareness touches the inner Light, the shadows of fear melt away and are replaced by the Love that has patiently waited to be recognized. How do we culture a consistent experience of that inner Light? Most if not all of us will require an effective tool to move the mind inward to the Source. With a tool the equation becomes simple. We use it. And if we use it consistently with dedication it will not be a long journey to the Self! There are no limitations to life but those that we artificially impose. There are no problems that cannot be cured through connection to Omniscient wisdom. There is no pain that cannot be healed by the Love of the Divine Presence within us. It does not have to take long to fully awaken to our True Nature.
The Ishayas Ascension is the most effortless means available in the world today to train the mind to move gently inward to the Source.
Isvari Ishaya: Full of joy and love of life, Isvari Ishaya knows that teaching Ascension is what she came here to do. Ascension is the tool that enables her to remove fear and live Praise, Gratitude and Love in each moment. Her heart is enlivened by sharing the truth of living this Teaching with the world.
Jyoti Ishaya:
In 1984, Jyoti Ishaya became aware that she could create anything she
wanted and did. She had a great life with everything she wanted, except
joy. Life was not worth living without joy. She searched, tried
therapy, self-help, and many healing therapies. In 1997, she found
Ishayas Ascension, a practice that helped her find the Source of Joy.
She completed Teacher Training in 1998 and began sharing this
incredible tool which changed her world.
The noted Rabbi and psychiatrist Edwin Friedman has written a series of fables, capricious and sometimes outrageous descriptions of the human condition, which are valuable for spiritual reflection. As is the case with gifts truly spiritual, the images I will present are free, without compulsion or expectation. Nevertheless, spiritual awareness can be blessing and discomfort, and both can lead to wisdom. Perhaps you'll recognize in these fables someone you know well.
